THE KIJIJI ACADEMY

The Academy

The training was delivered for 3 days to 14 girls. Participants were provided with; SRHR online supports, information and services to young women and girls not readily available in mainstream media, medical issues related to SRHR and the progress made by Kenya Government to enhance SRHR services to young women and youth. All participants were equiped with handouts and reading materials. Lectures, group work, group presentation discussions, role plays and videos were used as main training method. At Kijiji Academy 14 girls and young women graduate on SRHR were produced.

Self Care; Health Personal relationships, substance abuse, career and education

An elaborate and exciting curricula has been developed by the team of mentors. Different participatory & youth friendly tools and methods of learning will be applied. The Academy will also paired with sessions on talent search. A host of local inspiring public speakers and leaders will also be invited to address the academy.
